I tend to ignore Geo-Politics which can be costly!
What probability do you assign to an armed conflict between The U.S and China e.g over Taiwan or the Daiyou islands? Or is , as my Pal from,Singapore says:
“Sabre rattling , no gunshot” PGL
I agree with your Singapore friend, and think the chances are less than 0.5%.
The new US administration cannot afford to show weakness, so the probable case is for them to pursue a status quo policy regarding Taiwan.
I would be keen to see if some of the Chinese companies are gradually removed from the US Entity List, which may signal a cooling down of US-China tensions.
